HEERA ILLEGAL ISLAMIC BUSINESS SCHOOL, TIRUPATI

 

Nowhera Shaikh, president of the Madarasa-Niswan Isha-Atul-Islam-Urdu and the Arabic Development Society Trust, had sought permission from the Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) in 2010 for the construction of a G+1 structure.  She, however, ended up constructing up to G+6 floors, in spite of notices issued by the Panchayat secretary of Thondavada.

DEMOLITION ORDER
A deadline of 20 days given to the Government to cancel Islamic University.  The members of Tirumala Tirupati Pavitrata Samrakshana Vedika (TTPSV) warned the government that if the construction is not cancelled after 20 days then the government will be responsible for the aggressive Hindus reaction. Hindus urged the government while giving the memorandum.  District Collector K. Ramgopal has instructed the revenue and police officials to demolish the unapproved floors of the building that houses the Heera International Islamic University in Thondavada village of Chandragiri mandal.

Who is Nowhera Shaikh? Is Heera Gold real or fake? Nowhera Shaikh is a self-proclaimed Islamic Scholar who addresses herself as a doctor and is responsible for the luring more than 1,72,000 Muslims to invest in her Ponzi schemes floated under the banner Heera Gold.  There have been more than 30 FIRs registered against her and the promoters of Heera Gold, and authorities investigating her cases have stated her business modules to be on the lines of Ponzi.  She has spent more than 2 years in jail and is currently out on Interim Bail and the Supreme Court of India has ordered her to settle all dues or face jail again.  As of December 2021.
