FIVE MAJOR PROMOTERS NOT PROSECUTED
On the arrest of Nowhera Shaikh in October 2018, Central Crime Station
(CCS), Hyderabad, had taken control of Heera Group’s official YouTube channel
and there are numerous videos that establish the following five individuals to
not only be promoters, but core members and beneficiaries in the Heera Gold
scam.

1. Dr. Shehnaz Shaikh
Background: Resident of Mumbai. Ex-principal of Islamic Research Foundation (Dr. Zakir Naik). Close friend of Nowhera Shaikh’s. Has been with Nowhera Shaikh since 2011.

2. Mera Rabbani
Background: Resident of Mumbai. Renowned Islamic Scholar. Nowhera Shaikh bailed him out from a serious case. Had been promoting Heera Gold in almost all his lectures (inside and outside mosques). His son got married to a relative of Nowhera Shaikh’s. Has been with Nowhera Shaikh since 2012. Mostly residing in Saudi Arabia.

3. Mohammed Aqil
Background: Resident of Delhi. Main promoter of Heera Gold in Saudi Arabia. Had organized and hosted several iftar parties on behalf of Heera Group. Staying away from Delhi, mostly in Saudi, after fraud with an Islamic Group based in Delhi.

4. Arshad Basheer Madani
Background: Resident of Hyderabad. Well known Islamic speaker. Have been criticized and known to be charging extremely high for his services. Has promoted Heera Group in India, UAE, Kuwait, etc.

5. Jalauddin Qasmi
Background: Resident of Malegaon, Maharashtra. Renowned Islamic speaker (star speaker). Had promoted Heera Group mostly in Mumbai, Malegaon, Aurangabad. Had earlier been kicked out of a madrassa for molesting a child. Currently heads in decision making for Masjid Bilkis in Hyderabad, which was constructed by Nowhera Shaikh in Tolichowkie to secure the land (worth around 60 crore, registrar value).

SUMMARY:
In the Heera Gold scam, 29 plus FIRs had been filed throughout India
with 33 names in the accused list (only 5 arrests till date, almost 3 years now). The
above five promoters have not be prosecuted despite investors/complianants informing their respective investigating officers to do so after providing proof of affiliation (promotion) of the
Heera Gold scam.
